Inline with our commitment to the Care Quality Commission and Investors in People we ensure that staff are appropriately checked and trained for their job role; this is constantly reviewed to guarantee our training levels exceed the required standards, as detailed below:
• All staff are required to provide a suitable enhanced Criminal Record Bureau check
• All driving staff are assessed annually by an external company
• Staff are trained to a minimum of; Code of Conduct training, HSE First Aid at Work, Moving & Handling of Patients and Oxygen Administration
In addition to the above, staff receive ongoing training covering:
• Scenario Training
• Infection Control (Level 2)
• Palliative Care (level 2)
• Dementia Awareness (Level 2)
• Equality & Diversity (Level 2)
• Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults (level 1)
• Customer Service Training (level 2 / 3)
• Risk Assessments
